Judges’ Comments
In developments on high-density plots facing wide streets, there is an inherent tendency for the façade to take on a monotonous appearance that deviates from a human scale. In this project, the use of louvres—introduced as a solution to ensure the comfort of the living spaces—beautifully shapes the overall appearance of the building. By stacking individual units, it successfully enhances the urban landscape, creating a picturesque scene. The project was commended for its well-balanced integration of not only the façade but also the interior design, floor plans and technical systems.
